Refund Policy
At Merchant of Rugs, we are committed to delivering high-quality, handcrafted dhurries with meticulous attention to detail in design, materials, and craftsmanship. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we ensure that our products meet the highest standards.
Stocked items
Before shipping, each item undergoes thorough inspection, and we request that you also inspect and sign for the item upon delivery. In case you find a defect, please contact us immediately. However, if the dhurrie/rug does not appear good in your room, the responsibility falls on the customer. We recommend that you review the product dimensions, fabric carefully on the product page to ensure that it will fit in your space.
For size and placement assurance, the dhurrie guide/size guide is available for every product on the product page. Please note that the original color of
the rug/dhurrie may vary from the product image. We make sure that the product is delivered as it appears but variation can happen due to the use of natural fibers for making the dhurrie/rug.
If any defects are found after the order is delivered, we offer a replacement or refund within 15 days of the product’s receipt at our warehouse. Once approved, you will receive a refund voucher of same amount of purchase will be credited to you via email within 30 days.
Custom Orders
For custom orders, it is made specifically to your specifications and production begins after the confirmations and preferences. Thereby, custom orders are not tending to be canceled, altered, returned, or refunded. In case, there is some issue you can tell that to the representative prior to the production. Post-delivery, we can only consider any damage during the delivery but with valid proof for it.
Monogrammed/Personalized Items
Monogrammed or personalized items are considered custom orders and are non-returnable, non-refundable, and cannot be canceled.
Final Clearance/Sale Items
Items marked as final sale or clearance are not eligible for returns or refunds.
Additional Information
While we make every effort to ensure accuracy in product descriptions, prices, and images, we reserve the right to correct any errors. If a replacement is
offered, it will be for the exact item you originally ordered and cannot be exchanged for a different product, variation, or customization.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. Therefore, we accept the cancellation of orders before the shipment starts. In case of custom orders, we accept only cancellation made within 24 hours of request acceptance. Once the terms are finalized and production is started, the
cancellation is not possible.
Upon cancellation of prepaid order within the 2 hours of purchase, the refund shall be initiated immediately. It is reflecting in your bank within 3-4 working days. In case of issue you can write to us at email. For cash on delivery order cancelation, no refunds are valid. Other than that, cancellation made after the shipment is not acceptable and non-refundable.
